We seek experienced CS teachers who can provide ongoing, rigorous 1:1 support to novice high school CS teachers. As a mentor, you will develop a relationship with one novice CS teacher and meet with your partner virtually one hour twice per month throughout the school year. Goals of these mentorship meetings are to plan for and reflect on lessons, address challenges, build knowledge and skills, and monitor progress towards goals.

CSTA Wisconsin Dairyland, New Jersey, and the Black Affinity Group are partnering with CSTA and WestEd to continue this National Science Foundation-sponsored project. CSTA will train mentors and organize monthly community of practice (CoP) meetings to deepen skills and learn from other teachers. WestEd will lead research activities and collect mentor / mentee feedback.
